We have had a great week here in the forest of Wimbledon Village!
Jamie had been away for the last 2 weeks, and he thoroughly enjoyed hearing about all the fun he’d missed out on!
He thankfully brought the sun back with him as we had some brilliant weather this weekend which opened some opportunities for new adventures!
At the start of the week, we arrived at our forest to a log den which was made by visitors over the weekend! This den supplied us with endless opportunities - it started off as a house, before transforming into an ice cream van! Whilst the sun was out, ice cream selling became a popular past time, and so we decided to bring some of the magnet tiles into the forest so we could pretend to create our own ice creams! All sorts of flavours were enjoyed, so a big thank you to whoever built the log den for us to use!
As the week went on, the weather got warmer, but we were kept lovely and shaded in our forest camp!
On Thursday, we celebrated our 7th birthday as a nursery! A big happy birthday to us!
On Friday, we had great fun modelling with clay, we had little plastic knives to help us chop the clay into sizes that we would like, and everyone had a brilliant time making some amazingly unique creations!
We have spoken a lot about football and the Euros this week, with one of our children predicting Denmark would beat England, which was quite a close guess after all!
Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy the splendid weather!
