It's been another wonderful week in Wimbledon! Our adventurers have done so much exploring in the forest and we’ve also been on some amazing trips.
We started this week off with some great adventures outside of the forest, we visited the farm, the library and also a couple of our favourite local parks. The children enjoyed exploring these new areas around Wimbledon and finding lots of exciting things to look at. At the farm we got the chance to see pigs, sheep and cows, as well as bunnies and chickens. Some of the children even had the chance to stroke an albino rat. It was great to see them ask questions about the animals and learn lots of new facts.
When we went to the local park we had a chance to launch a rocket with our friends! The children had to work out how it launched and everyone had a chance to press the pedals. Watching their excitement as we could see it going higher and higher was wonderful.
We also had so much fun exploring the ice this week in the forest. The puddles were frozen, the leaves covered in frost and the grass was like an ice rink. This made for lots of chances to explore and see the different noises the ice made when it cracked, and the different patterns formed in the ice.
It’s been such an amazing week at Wimbledon, we can’t wait to see you all next week for more adventures!
