Wimbledon - A visit to the Park & Library

Another busy and exciting week at Wimbledon!

We started off our week with a trip to our local park and the library. It was so great for our children to be able to experience some of the amazing local spaces we have around us. The local park was full of giant logs for us to climb on, muddy puddles to jump in and a giant green space to show off our super speed. The visit to the library was also something we really enjoyed. It was great to see some of the children having the chance to look through hundreds of books and choose which ones to read whilst we were there.

When we returned to the forest we were greeted by some giant muddy puddles which greatly helped our mud kitchen play. The children have been playing lots of cooking games and creating some unique mud cakes in our pans. We have also been busy climbing on the various fallen trees in the forest. It’s great to practice safe climbing and working out which trees are best for different games; some can be trains, while others are better for being an ice cream shop!

Another week of imagination, creativity and exciting exploring at Wimbledon!
