We had Educator Jamie back from Paternity Leave this week, as he welcomed another baby girl with his partner, we are sending their family all of our congratulations!
This week, after a lovely, humid summer-like Easter weekend, we were back in the Forest, where the topic of conversation was all about the cool and exciting Easter activities that we did over the weekend!
We started Tuesday morning by making bunny masks in the Forest - this time of year is very special on Wimbledon Common, as Spring is here! When we have a quiet moment, like at snack time, we often see baby bunny rabbits hopping around the heathland, and this paired with all the Easter egg hunts, meant that rabbit masks were a very popular idea.
On Thursday afternoon, we enjoyed a glorious adventure walk in the sun, and whilst on our travels we stopped off for a wild snack time on a log.
On Friday, at our new Paradise Gardens site, we made some spring lemon-scented play-dough. We put all the ingredients into a big mixing tray, and encouraged the children to knead the dough into shape.
We have enjoyed some warmer weather and some heavy showers this week, the weather looks lovely for next week, and we look forward to the warmth!
Have a great weekend one and all!
