As the daffodils on Wimbledon common have begun sprouting this week, we have enjoyed the warm embrace of the sun, the ability to be able to shed our jackets in the afternoon warmth, and the reappearance of some Little Forest Folk Wandsworth alumni, in the form of holiday camp children!
We have enjoyed catching up with these familiar faces, and hearing all about where their big school adventures have taken them.
A lot of these bigger children have been roleplaying superheroes in the Forest, so our resident face paint technician, Educator Nicol, scaffolded this opportunity by producing some super cool superhero face paints for those that were interested. Batman and Spider Girl joined forces to take down the evil Green Goblin… tune in next week to find out what happens in the next instalment of Little Forest Folk’s Avengers.
Back at the bowling club, the children have enjoyed balancing and leaping on our new log stepping stones that Educator Jamie acquired from the local tree surgeons.
