This week, our main activities have revolved around the Euro football tournament, and the children have been enthusiastically engaging in football games in the forest. Using tarpaulins as makeshift goals, our little kickers have been scoring goal after goal, honing their skills and enjoying the spirit of friendly competition.
In celebration of the Euros, we embraced the theme by dressing up as footballers and exploring different kinds of flags. Our crafty adventurers delved into world maps, flags, and country traditions and cultures. Using tape, the children taped up their paper and painted vibrant lines to create flags. Union Jacks, Polish, Spanish, and Swedish flags decorated the forest, showcasing their artistic flair and cultural awareness.
In addition to our flag-making, the children made medals for an award ceremony. With excellent teamwork, they crafted medals and organised a ceremony that was the best yet, celebrating their achievements and the spirit of camaraderie.
It has been a vibrant and energetic week, filled with learning, creativity, and sportsmanship.
We look forward to more adventures next week!
