Scavenger Hunt for Wildflowers
With spring in full bloom, we set out on a scavenger hunt around our camp, seeking out the enchanting beauty of wildflowers. Armed with checklists, our intrepid adventurers marked off each discovery, celebrating the diversity of flora that graces our forest floor.
Planting Seeds for World Earth Day
In honour of World Earth Day, we planted sunflower seeds in biodegradable flowerpots, instilling a sense of stewardship and responsibility for our planet. Each adventurer received a pot to take home, a reminder of their commitment to nurturing the earth and fostering a greener future.
Dinosaur Discoveries and Fossil Hunts
Our main theme this week has revolved around dinosaurs, igniting the imagination of our young palaeontologists. Working together, they embarked on dinosaur digs, carefully unearthing fossils and examining the bones of ancient creatures. With magnifying glasses in hand, we explored different types of fossils, from imprints, casts, and rocks. With keen eyes and curious minds, we studied the intricate ridges and textures of these ancient artefacts, unravelling the mysteries of prehistoric life.
As we bid adieu to another week of adventure and discovery, we're filled with gratitude for the wonders of nature that surround us. Until next time, may the spirit of exploration and learning continue to thrive in our forest sanctuary.
