We have had the most memorable week here at Putney Heath, full of adventures and activities that the children have absolutely loved.
Our big highlight of the week has to be our fantastic trip to the Natural History Museum. We began the day by hopping on a bus to begin our journey to the museum and the children loved looking out the windows to see what they could spot along the paths, bridges and in the river! Once we arrived at the museum the children began to explore the natural wonders of the world, starting with the dinosaurs! The giant T-Rex was a firm favourite, along with the baby dinosaurs and the various dinosaur skeletons. The children listened to information along the way and curiously asked questions about the exhibits they saw. The children showcased their brilliant listening skills all day, keeping safe and ensuring that they could see a teacher at all times, making it a brilliant experience for everyone!
In the forest later in the week, we celebrated National Pizza Day! The children made their own pizzas in the creative area, choosing which toppings they liked best. Once the pizzas had been prepared, the children transported them to the pizzeria ready for cooking in the pizza oven. The restaurant was very authentic with Italian music playing and Italian Chefs!
What an absolutely fantastic week! We hope you all have a restful weekend ready for more adventures next week :)
