So another beautiful sunny week ends in our Fulham Forest. It’s been amazing to see some really cool structures on camp this week, one day we had an awesome dragon made on camp and we’ve also travelled around Europe this week too, transforming the camp each day relating to a different country!
One day we had a French theme and what an amazing day that turned out to be!
Not only was our day fun-packed with lots of French themed activities such as making French flags and getting messy creating some red, white and blue play dough, but for the main event …. as we couldn’t get to the Eiffel Tower, we brought the Eiffel Tower to us! 🇫🇷
Some mask making also has taken place this week allowing everyone to get creative with the pens, mark-making and decorating our masks with the most amazing colourful designs.
Moving on to the end of the week, we had an Italian themed day where we created cool cardboard pizzas using felt and cutting out our most delicious pizza toppings to stick onto our pizzas, whilst having great conversations about all the different things we enjoy on our pizza’s. We transformed the mud kitchen into an ice cream shop where everyone enjoyed making each other some delicious ice creams and we even added some awesome scents such as coconut to further their play and give our creations some tasty smells. We also created some pasta necklaces where we developed our fine motor skills by practicing threading and created some cool looking bracelets and necklaces.
So as our week in the Fulham Forest comes to an end, we are excited to see the adventures that will happen on camp in Fulham next week!
