Fulham - Fishies and Seaweed

Hello everyone,

This week at Fulham we have enjoyed showing some new friends our forest and what we get up to throughout the day. The children were all very welcoming and enjoyed spending time with them, including them in their games and helping them to understand some of our forest rules. The mud kitchen as always was a keen favourite and many different meals were prepared in the very busy Fulham Forest Kitchen.

Our explorers have enjoyed leading the way through the palace grounds and directing our journeys to and from the palace entrance. Their inquisitive nature has brought up many discussions about our surroundings and they have enjoyed finding out the names of the different flowers and plants that are in bloom along the way.

In the walled garden we have enjoyed a variety of different races and have come up with many different methods of movement. The children have amazed us with their ability to hop, skip, jump and use their body to move like different creatures. We have played a very fun game of ‘fishies and seaweed’ and were all so exhausted when we arrived back in camp, snacks were a very welcome break and refuel!

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
