Chiswick -  Sticks, Bugs, Rocks and Soil!

What a gloriously sunny week we have had in our forest. Our Little Forest Folk-ers have been dancing to Frozen, Moana and Encanto in the rays of sunshine, celebrating the (unofficial) start of Spring.

Chiswick have welcomed back a few familiar faces and made new friends with the start of Holiday Camp. Our adventurers shared their knowledge of the forest and gardens as they made food in the mud kitchen, went on adventure walks and of course, imprisoned their educators in hand-built dens.

Engaging their motor skills, we sawed alder branches and palm drilled holes to string beautiful forest dream catchers. We then attached them to our bags to take home.

What do you get when you mix bananas with yoghurt and oats? A tasty snack! Our adventurers took part in a discussion about good bacteria and vitamins, how yummy fruits can help our bodies to stay healthy and strong. We chopped our bananas, stuck them on lollipops and smeared, dunked and coated our bananas in yoghurt and oats. YUM!

Easter is around the corner!! In the spirit, our adventurers crafted their own Easter eggs made of felt. Wetting the material and moulding it into egg shapes, our Little Forest Folk-ers made their own hanging decorations.

All our friends at Chiswick wish you a very Happy Easter and hope you enjoy a long weekend, full of adventures.

Joke of the week: what do you call an egg from outer space?
