As the days grow shorter and the leaves change into brilliant shades of gold, crimson, and orange, we've embraced the enchanting arrival of autumn in our beloved forest. It's been an exciting week, and we can't wait to share all the experiences our little explorers have had.
Autumn's Delight: The forest is a magical canvas of colours, with leaves painting our world in hues of the season. We've been venturing through the forest, discovering leaves of all sizes and shapes, and we've enjoyed exploring their unique beauty. It's a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about the rich tapestry of nature.
Artistic Adventures: Our creative spirits have soared this week with clay tile printing, a beautiful artistic activity. The children have explored their artistic talents, creating stunning prints that capture the essence of autumn.
Leafy Experiments: Leaves have been our inspiration, not only for their visual beauty but also as tools for exploration. Our young scientists have conducted leaf experiments, engaging their curious minds to discover nature's secrets.
Mushroom Hunt: Venturing beyond our forest, we've explored the park in search of mushrooms. It's a captivating adventure as we uncover these fascinating fungi, learning about the diverse world of forest life.|
Halloween Fun: With Halloween just around the corner, we've taken our first steps into the world of spooky fun. Our little explorers have dived into the spirit of the season, crafting costumes, mastering the art of face paint, and even creating eerie pumpkins. The forest is beginning to feel wonderfully spooky!
Welcome Back Campers: Exciting news for the coming week as we eagerly welcome back our holiday campers for the half-term. We're prepared for more adventures, laughter, and discoveries in the forest. We also wanted to let families know that we would welcome little adventurers who want to wear costumes to the forest next week - over their waterproofs please! We hope our sessional friends have a lovely half term break & we can't wait to see you again the following week.
As the days grow colder and the forest transforms into an autumn wonderland, we're thankful to share these moments with your children. Thank you for being a part of our seasonal journey at Little Forest Folk.
