Chiswick -  Cyanotype Sun Pictures & Clay Bees!

Everyone welcome in the forest!

It's been an exciting and fun-filled week in the Chiswick forest, and we were delighted to have you all join us for our Stay and Play sessions. We had an amazing time exploring, playing, and creating with our little friends.

We kicked off the week by creating beautiful Cyanotype sun pictures using paper and sun-reacting liquid. Our explorers were thrilled to see their flower and plant prints and even some that looked like galaxies!

Next up, we got our hands dirty by rolling and squishing clay to make cute bees and wasps. It was so much fun to see the kids' creativity come to life.

We also enjoyed making fishing rods and fishing in our giant muddy puddle. We had a competition to see who could have the longest fishing rod, and it was a blast!

Our creative juices continued to flow as we took part in more nature-art activities. We did some paint splashing using paper straws, creating magical patterns. We also enjoyed decorating the forest using chalk.

It has been an amazing week, and we had a lot of fun with the parents who joined us for Stay and Play. We hope to see you all again at our Summer Stay and Play sessions, so stay tuned for more details!
