Sunny September☀️
We have welcomed new faces into Wimbledon this week and what a fantastic week we have had! We have also welcomed the sun with open arms but also have found ways to keep cool!
The children have enjoyed the train tracks this week which have been transported into the forest. We have set these up in a wide range of ways including on tarps as well as on wooden cable reels. The children have connected the tracks to make circles to allow the trains to go around or have used the small holes in the reel to prop the track peices up and allow the trains to fall down the slope that has been made. The slopes inspired the children to use the guttering to create slopes to allow golf balls to fly down.
Painting has also been a favourite activity this week to keep cool. We have applied paint to cardboard, recycled paper, whiteboards and a giant clear tarp. As well as applying the paint to a wide range of different materials, the children have also applied it using a wide range of different methods whether that has been using their fingers, paintbrushes or sticks.
It has been a lovely week and has been enjoyed by all. We have loved seeing all of our new faces and can not wait for future adventures!☀️🦊🐰
