As we emerged from the long Easter weekend, our forest was abuzz with tales of chocolate indulgence, Easter getaways, and cherished family time. It was a joyous welcome back, filled with laughter and fond memories shared amongst friends old and new.
Easter Bonanza and Eco Adventures
We kicked off the week with an Easter bonanza, using leftover foam eggs to create vibrant decorations with sponge sticks and paint. With creative flair and eco-friendly practices in mind, we then transformed our creations into watercolour masterpieces using food colouring and pipettes. Our eco-adventurers also dove into sign designs for our upcoming clothing drive, spreading awareness and positivity throughout the forest.
Embracing Springtime Splendor
As warmer weather is beginning to grace our forest, we revelled in all things Spring. From pipe cleaner flowers to eco-craft collages, our little artists celebrated the beauty of nature and the joys of creative expression. Each creation a testament to the vibrant energy of the season.
Wellness Focus: Caring for Ourselves and Others
Our big focus this week centred on wellness and self-care. Through thoughtful exploration, we delved into the importance of sleep and relaxation, understanding how our bodies and minds benefit from adequate rest. From the sleep patterns of babies and children to the slumbering habits of animals, we discovered the universal need for rest and rejuvenation. It was a profound exploration into self-care and empathy, reminding us all of the importance of supporting and caring for one another.
