It's been an enchanting week here at Putney Heath, filled with laughter, learning, and special moments.
Our little adventurers celebrated the incredible love and care of their mums and other special caregivers in their lives. We explored the joy of making memories together, whether it's a trip to the playground, a visit to the shops, or sharing stories at home. The children crafted magical wands to take home, symbolizing the endless possibilities of creating happy memories with their loved ones.
Our young artists were busy creating beautiful collages using a variety of materials, including card, tissue, and repurposed greeting cards. Each child channelled their imagination, and they were bursting with pride as they shared their masterpieces with their families.
In our forest lessons, the children continued their exploration of their environment. They bravely took turns using the bow saw, discovering the joy of hard work as they transformed logs into delightful tree cookies. These hands-on experiences foster a deep connection with nature.
The forest came alive with the magic of storytelling as we celebrated World Book Day. Dressed as their favourite storybook characters, the children embarked on exciting adventures through the pages of their beloved books. They also unleashed their creativity with story stones, weaving their own tales of wonder and imagination.
As always, we're grateful for the opportunity to inspire your little ones on their journey of discovery. Have a lovely weekend!
