NURSERY DEPUTY MANAGER

Little Forest Folk are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our exceptional teams across South West London.

The Role

As Nursery Deputy Manager, you’ll be tasked with providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children aged 2-5 years, in our beautiful outdoor setting. You’ll work with your team to create an enabling environment where children can develop and learn through play. You’ll use your existing skills, experience and passion for outdoor education to deliver a fantastic experience for our children, promote our ethos and help to make Little Forest Folk the best it can be.

What we are looking for in our ideal Nursery Deputy Manager:

  • Experience of working in a nursery/private day care setting as either a Room Leader or Deputy Nursery Manager

  • Preferable experience within outdoor education environment (desirable)

  • A relevant childcare qualification for the role (Minimum NNEB, NVQ3/Diploma 3)

  • Knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework

  • Knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding children obligations

  • Highly organised, driven and motivated team-player

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and interact with children, team-members and parents for different purposes and different contexts

  • Approachable and caring with a passion for working with children and the outdoors

Hours: 40 hours per week
Locations: Morden

Salary: £29,000 - £30,000, dependent upon experience
